Fingerplays for preschoolers involve the use of 'finger puppets', your 'fingers' or 'gloves' that include different characters or items being part of the song or story you are presenting to the preschool classroom or other young children.

As with other preschool stories and preschool kids songs, there is is usually some sort of educational aspect or 'life lesson' to learn from them. The bottomline is that preschool fingerplays are fun and children and preschoolers really enjoy watching and learning from various fingerplays using these various preschool children's songs and kids stories.

Farmer Brown Had 5 Red Apples:

Farmer Brown had 5 red apples hanging on a tree,

He plucked 1 apple and ate it HUNGRILY...(make eating sounds..)

Now there are 4 red apples a hanging on a tree,

4 red apples a hanging on a tree,

He plucked 1 apple and ate it HUNGRILY... (make eating sounds..)

Now there are 3 red apples a hanging on a tree,

3 red apples a hanging on a tree,

He plucked 1 apple and ate it HUNGRILY... (make eating sounds..)

Now there are 2 red apples a hanging on a tree,

2 red apples a hanging on a tree,

He plucked 1 apple and ate it HUNGRILY... (make eating sounds..)
